Are you tired of having your car stolen? The Rhino Wheel Boot Immobilizer
installs in 30-45 seconds. No assembly required. It is easy to put on and take off. It is a commercial grade wheel lock that is used by police departments to boot cars but can also be used as a theft deterrant if you have to leave your car outside a garage where it can be stolen.
A tire stop stabilizer is located on the inner side of the wheel boot's outer arm and prevents side-to-side movement of the immobilizer. Bi-directional stand design
allows the immobilizer to be attached to any vehicle wheel - front, rear, left or right side. Immobilizer deep dish dome provides space for protruding nubs and
prevents access to lug nuts. Telescoping dome assembly with protective beading prevents removal of the wheel. Immobilizer is a one piece unitized welded steel construction and has baked-on environmentally safe safety orange powder coating which provides high visibility and superior rust protection.
The inner Hook-Loc arm, with pressure stop affixed to the outer side, indexes quickly within the inner wheel's cavity between the wheel's backing plate or wheel drum. An assist spring aids in the installation of the immobilizer by holding the inner Hook-Loc arm against the inner wheel, where it is indexed between the wheel and brake backing plate. The stainless steel Secur-Bolt-Key system provides for secure immobilizer attachment. Holes at the bolt tube are provided for use of optional padlock and padlock cover for additional security. Unique design deters unauthorized removal of wheel or immobilizer. When tightened, the Secur-Bolt applies pressure against the inner rotating Hook-Loc arm, rotating it inward until it is stopped when the arm's affixed pressure stop comes into contact with the wheel's brake backing plate, wheel drum or tie rod end. The inward pressure is then reversed at the stop, driving the outer affixed and telescoping dome assembly with protective heading against the outer wheel or hubcap for a positive vice-like attachment.
Dome Wheel Size: 12 inches. This immobilizer has a 12 inch domed wheel cover and is ideal for general use on all diameters of wheels. Product is also available in a 14 inch dome, ideal for large diameter wheels and a 10 inch dome, ideal for extremely small diameter wheels. Rhino Wheel Boot Dome Size: 12 inches. The dome should fit over all your lug nuts.
The RHINOWHEELBOOTH10, RHINOWHEELBOOTH12 and RHINOWHEELBOOTH14 all fit the same tire width and diameters. The difference in the models is the dome size. The dome should fit over all the wheel lugs on the cars you will be using the unit on.,
